Choosing a platform

Two environments, two kinds of cart.

Industrial & warehouse carts

Steel-frame workstations built to take a hit — picking, receiving, shipping, and floor-level workstations that carry a monitor, a label printer, a scanner, and a full shift of equipment without flexing. Four series scale from a compact entry-level cart to a 400 lb-capacity heavy hauler.

EC Series · NB Series · PC Series · Apex Series

Medical carts

Electric-lift and telescoping platforms for bedside charting, telehealth, and medication rounds — certified to IEC 60601-1 patient-care electrical safety standards, quiet-rolling casters, and sit-to-stand height adjustment for shift-long comfort.

Industrial & Warehouse · Most Popular

The mid-range workhorse, in a standard or slim footprint.

The NB Series is the cart most operations land on — a 43″ tall, 75 lb-per-shelf frame with room for a monitor, a keyboard tray, a label printer, and a scanner holster, in a 24″ standard width or an 18″ SLIM width for narrow aisles. Runs on our swappable battery systems, so a discharged pack never means a stalled cart.

Industrial & Warehouse · Heavy-Duty

When the load is heavier than a standard cart can carry.

PC Series carts hold up to 400 lbs total across three shelves — 100 lbs on top, 100 in the middle, 200 on the bottom — in a 38.5″ or 57″ width. Built for multi-monitor stations, dual printers, or anywhere a single cart needs to do the work of two. Available with the same swappable or stand-alone power options as the rest of the lineup.

Medical · Flagship Platform

A modular cart platform, powered or not, built around the same frame.

Mosaic is designed to be configured to the unit, not the other way around — a 25″ height range, 65° tilt, 360° rotation, and a 43 lb display capacity on the non-powered base, or step up to the integrated-power version with a hot-swappable battery, four outlets, and asset-tracking software built in. Assembled and manufactured in the USA, with a 5-year warranty either way.

Medical · Electric-Lift

Sit-to-stand power, sized for a full shift on the floor.

CareFit Pro pairs a 27″ sit-to-stand lift range with a 37.5 lb display capacity, a 7-port USB hub, worksurface and floor lighting, and a LiFe battery power system with a hot-swap charger available separately — built for rounds that don’t stop moving. CareFit Slim trims the same electric-lift comfort into a lighter, more compact frame for point-of-care use where every hallway is tight.

Battery Systems

Built to Work Together

Every industrial cart on this page fits our swappable battery systems.

The NB, PC, and Apex Series are all sized to accept the PowerSwap Nucleus Classic and Mini — pull a discharged pack, drop in a charged one, and the cart never has to head to an outlet. See the full battery lineup, capacities, and runtimes on the Battery Systems page.

Common questions

Powered cart FAQs.

Which industrial series is right for us?

Start with what the cart carries and where it travels. EC Series for light point-of-use tasks and tight spaces, NB Series for the typical picking or shipping station, PC Series when the load tops 75–100 lbs, and Apex Series when different operators need different working heights.

Do the industrial carts come powered?

All four series accept our swappable or stand-alone battery systems — see the Battery Systems page for capacities and runtimes. Carts can also be ordered as an unpowered frame if you’re supplying your own power.

What makes the medical carts different from the industrial ones?

Medical carts are certified to IEC 60601-1 patient-care electrical safety standards, use quiet non-marking casters, and are built for repeated sit-to-stand height changes throughout a shift — industrial carts prioritize load capacity and durability over clinical certification.

Powered or non-powered — which Mosaic configuration do we need?

If the cart just needs to hold and position a monitor that’s already wired to a wall or a fixed PC, non-powered is simpler and lighter. If the workstation itself needs to run untethered — a full computer, scanner, and accessories — the integrated-power version keeps it running for a full shift.

Can we mix industrial and medical carts in one order?

Yes — many of our customers run both, for example a hospital’s central supply floor alongside its patient units. Send your rep a breakdown by department and we’ll consolidate into one quote.

How is this different from Battery Systems?

This page covers the carts themselves — the frame, shelving, lift mechanism, and mounting. Battery Systems covers the swappable and stand-alone power packs that go into them. Most orders need both; ask your rep for a combined quote.

Environment, equipment, and fleet size — that’s all it takes to spec an industrial or medical cart that fits.
